There may be more happening within one human experience
than any single explanation can reveal.
Bring one experience from your life into the room and discover what becomes visible when we look beyond the explanation you already have for it.
The person who knows your experience best is you.
One Experience. More Than One Way of Seeing.
Something in your life may feel stuck, confusing, difficult to change, or simply unresolved. Often, it shows up in work, money, or relationships.
You may already have an explanation for why it is happening. You may even have spent years understanding it through therapy, coaching, spiritual practice, education, or your own reflection.
And there may still be more to see.
The Sovereignty Reclamation Method™ approaches human experience from more than one direction. Rather than reducing an experience to a single cause, SRM allows the psychological, relational, embodied, cultural, inherited, and spiritual dimensions of our lives to remain in conversation.
The purpose is not to determine which explanation is correct.
SRM creates a way to explore more of what may be present within an experience so that you can discern what is true and meaningful for yourself.

Who Did You Become to Belong?
Human beings need connection. We learn how to participate within society, families, relationships, workplaces, and other environments long before we consciously understand what those experiences are teaching us.
Sometimes, what helped us remain connected becomes so familiar that we experience it simply as who I am.
The responsible one. The capable one. The one who keeps the peace. The one who helps. The one who does not need too much.
And sometimes the question underneath an experience we cannot seem to change is not simply:
Why do I keep doing this?
It is:
Who did I learn to become here—and what do I believe could happen if I stop?
The Adaptive Survival Identities™
SRM identifies six Adaptive Survival Identities™ that can help us recognize ways we may have learned to respond in order to maintain connection, identity, stability, approval, or belonging: the Emotional Stabilizer, Rescuer, Connection Seeker, Responsible One, Ethical One, and Not-Enough One.
These are not diagnoses or fixed personality types. They are lenses for inquiry—and you may recognize more than one.
About the Learning Lab
Across three weekly sessions, you will bring one present experience from your life into the foundational 8-Step Sovereignty Reclamation Method™ Process.
The process gives us a structure for inquiry without assuming in advance what your experience means.
We may explore what you are feeling, what your body is communicating, what you believe, what you have learned or inherited, what is happening within the relationships or environment around you, what you intuitively perceive, what you fear, what you want, and what you already know.
We will also examine whether belonging has shaped how you learned to respond—and whether an Adaptive Survival Identity™ has become involved.
You are not coming to the Learning Lab to be interpreted.
You are learning to recognize more of what is happening within your own experience so that you can discern what is yours and choose from your own authority.
The Three-Week Journey
Session One: What Is Happening Here?
Bring one present experience into the SRM process. We will slow it down, notice what is present, and begin exploring what may be operating beneath the explanation you already have for it.
Session Two: Who Did You Become to Belong?
We will explore what may have been learned, inherited, or developed within the experience, including what you fear could happen if you respond differently and whether an Adaptive Survival Identity™ has become involved.
Session Three: Reclaiming Your Inner Authority
We will bring what you have discovered into discernment: what belongs to you, what you know now, what the circumstances around you actually require, and what responding from your own authority could look like.
This Learning Lab May Be for You If...
You are curious about an experience in your life that feels stuck, recurring, confusing, or difficult to change—even if you already understand a great deal about why it may be happening.
You are willing to become curious about your experience rather than looking for someone else to tell you what it means or what you should do.
You do not need to be a therapist, counselor, coach, bodyworker, healer, or practitioner.
You need only be willing to bring one real experience into the room.

Participation and Scope
This is a small, live learning lab grounded in education, guided reflection, and experiential application.
You remain responsible for deciding what you share and may pass on any invitation or exercise. Participants will be encouraged to select material that is within their current capacity to explore in a group setting.
Participant discussions will not be recorded. Participants agree to protect the privacy of the group and to refrain from recording, advising, diagnosing, or interpreting one another.
Because confidentiality is a shared commitment among participants, it cannot be absolutely guaranteed by the facilitator.
Individualized counseling, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis support are outside the scope of the learning lab. Participants are encouraged to seek appropriate individual support when an experience requires care beyond this educational group setting.
Cancellation Policy
Because this is a small live group limited to eight participants, payment in full reserves one place for the complete three-session learning lab.
Cancellation requests received on or before September 15, 2026, are eligible for a full refund. After September 15, registration payments are nonrefundable unless the learning lab is canceled by the facilitator.
If the learning lab is canceled, participants will receive a full refund. Registration may not be transferred to another person without prior written approval.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to tell the group my complete personal story?
No. You will work with one bounded experience and decide what you want to share. You are not required to disclose names, identifying details, or your complete history.
Do I need to attend all three sessions?
Yes. Each session builds upon the previous week. Live attendance at all three sessions is strongly encouraged, and session replays are not included.
What happens after I register?
After payment, you will complete a brief participant-information form. Your orientation, Zoom information, participation agreements, and initial materials will be emailed to you before the first session.
You May Already Know
You may already know what you want, what you need, or what can no longer continue.
You may also have explored your experience through therapy, coaching, spiritual practice, body-based work, education, or years of your own reflection.
SRM asks you to encounter that experience differently.
Rather than beginning with one explanation for why you feel stuck, the Sovereignty Reclamation Method™ brings multiple ways of seeing and knowing into the same inquiry—and follows what emerges.
This is not a method you are expected to already understand. It is an original framework you are being invited to experience.
You may discover that beneath the problem you thought you were trying to solve is a different question entirely:
Who have I learned to become in order to belong—and what happens when I begin listening to myself instead?
The work is not about becoming someone better.
It is about reclaiming the authority to discern what is true and meaningful for you, and how you choose to live from there.
Self-abandonment is not required for belonging.

About Gretchen Hill
I have spent much of my life trying to understand human experience—how we know what we know, how we become who we become, and what happens when we lose connection with ourselves within the worlds to which we belong.
My way of working has emerged at the intersection of education, cultural geography, psychology, spirituality, intuitive perception, and lived experience.
I hold master's degrees in cultural geography and clinical mental health counseling and have worked as a therapist, educator, coach, and higher-education professional. I am also an Akashic Records Master Practitioner, intuitive, and healer.
Across those seemingly different worlds, I kept encountering the same deeper question:
